Ron has been photographing architecture and interior design since 1979. His appreciation of good architectural design shows in his attention to photographic and design detail, composition, lighting, and in his ability to relate the designer's intentions to the viewer. His experience and understanding of design and construction allow him to bring each photograph to life, creating a portrait of the building or interior. He studied photography and design in school, perfecting it on his own and in workshops. But, he learned architectural photography from architects and designers. It shows. Ron enjoys working closely with architects, seeking input prior to shooting and a critical response to the final image. He believes the photograph is a blending of photographic and architectural vision - a continuation of the design concept. |
